Biography: Nick Dryer is the Manager of Roadway Planning- Rail Friction Management at BNSF Railway, and currently is responsible for the planning and implementation of new friction management systems and material to the field. Nick received his B.S. AerE from Iowa State University in Ames. He has been involved in the Rail industry for the last 10 years in various capacities, from contracted Engineering Services, Signal, Technical Research and Development, and in his current role in the Engineering department. Nick is also Chairman of Sub-committee Nine (Grinding, Rail Wear, & Friction Management ) of AREMA Committee Four (Rail. )
