Biography: Randall Duty is the Chief Engineer – Operations and Maintenance for Denver Transit Partners (DTP) in Denver, Colorado. DTP is responsible for operations and maintenance of the Regional Transportation District’s 36-mile Eagle Commuter Rail Network. Randall oversees maintenance of the network’s track, drainage, bridges & structures, stations, traction power system, information technology, signal and train control, and maintenance facilities.
Randall has over eight years of experience in the fields of commuter and freight railroad engineering, operations & maintenance, project & construction management, and quality assurance/control. He has expertise working on freight and commuter railroad start-up projects. His levels of responsibility include conceptual engineering design, detailed engineering design and oversight, contract compliance & oversight, project & construction management, project controls, capital improvement planning, and quality assurance/control.
Randall has a BSCE from The University of Texas at Austin and is a license Professional Engineer in the states of Texas and Colorado.
