Biography: Senior Engineer Vehicle/Track Systems for Advanced Rail Management Corporation, responsible for providing lead and assistant technical support on both internal and external projects in the areas of vehicle/track dynamics, wheel/rail interaction, testing, data analysis and manipulation, project management, and test plan development. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, Mr. Handal has over 30 years of experience in the rail industry starting as a Research Assistant at Clemson, 11 years with the AAR at the TTC on a variety of issues from Vehicle/Track and Wheel/Rail Interaction research to track buckling, and 17 years with Progressive Rail Technologies performing derailment analyses and technical support of their TPD and WILD products.
