Scott Mather

Biography: Scott Mather is an experienced project lead with twelve years’ experience working in an engineering design and consulting environment, managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. He is accomplished in the bulk material handling field and involved in mechanical engineering for metallurgical and mining projects overseeing the management and design of projects.

Scott recently joined the Transit Commission’s Subway Infrastructure’s Maintenance Engineering section. TTC’s Maintenance Engineering department is responsible for providing track and structure related engineering support, maintenance improvements, engineering research and development and testing of its Subway, and SRT lines. Scott has been leading the Wheel/Rail Interface Optimization project and lubrication, top of rail friction management work.

Scott has a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University.
