Kambiz Nayebi

Biography: Kambiz Nayebi is the founder and president and CEO of Beena Vision Systems Inc. He has a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has been active in academia for 15 years in teaching and research positions. Since 1996, he has led the development of several products to apply image processing and machine vision technologies to solve condition monitoring problems of the railroad industry.
As a result of these efforts in the last 17 years, several products have successfully been deployed globally by many railroad operators for rolling stock inspection. He currently is active in development of new technologies aimed wide spread deployment of fully automated vision based train inspection systems.
