Biography: Renata do Carmo Santoro is a Regional Sales Manager for LB Foster, focused mainly in Brazil. She has worked in the railroad industry for nearly 20 years. Renata started her career as an Engineer for MRS Logística, a freight railroad in Brazil, working for both the track maintenance and track engineering departments. Since 2012 she has been based in Vancouver, Canada, working for L.B. Foster, providing technical support on Friction Management projects for freight railroads and transit systems in Brazil and other countries in Latin America.

Renata holds a civil engineering degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil and a Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
