Biography: Lucas Valente is a Rolling Stock Specialist at MRS Logística in Juiz de Fora/Brazil. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Federal University of Juiz de Fora, who has been working with vehicle dynamics using multibody modeling and simulation since 2012. He is responsible for dynamic evaluation of vehicles to increase maximum speed, new operations conditions study to determine the effect of longitudinal dynamics, derailment research and development of new component for MRS’s trucks. He also provides support on vehicle and track maintenance parameters.
